All assisted research (for two of the workshops), and time for personal research will be located at the Family History Library, just one-half block from the hotel. The library houses over 2.4 million rolls of microfilmed genealogical records in additional to thousands of microfiche, books, and periodicals. In addition to their online digital records collection, they provide research access to some of the most popular and useful genealogical subscription websites through their in-house computers.
Computers are available on each floor with basic genealogical software and access to primary subscription research sites in addition to familysearch.org and the library catalog. Participants may make printed copies of records found in printed or microfilmed materials utilizing a copy card which may be purchased at the service desk in each area. Alternately, copies may be saved electronically to a USB drive at no cost. Family history consultants are available on each floor at the reference desk area to assist with questions.
